Christian stories are not just good for personal leisure reading but are great for impacting lives when used as illustrations in Christian sermons and Bible lessons in church services as well as in the Sunday school classes.
Good stories that inspire simply living for Christ and illustrate Christian truths.
I have collected some inspiring stories during my Christian walk with God and especially after I attended a Christian Education course in Bible Seminary. Our lecturer, Mrs. Eileen Kuhn taught us how to effectively use interesting stories as hooks in Bible lessons to capture the attention of Sunday school students.
Personally, I find them uplifting and usually learn a lesson or two from reading these inspiring stories as they were written and retold to illustrate Christian truths.
Before reading them, let us understand a bit about these stories, and how we can use them to share our Christian faith.
Jesus used parables to teach Biblical truth. These parables of Jesus are stories - simple and memorable stories - that use everyday happenings as illustration of a single truth or message.
Likewise stories with a Christian message as told today by pastors behind the pulpit, printed in Christian tracts, or distributed online through emails are stories that teach spiritual truths.
More stories will be added here.
For pastors and church leaders to illustrate a spiritual truth in a sermon or bible lesson. Usually, these stories are used in the introduction to a sermon or a bible lesson in church or in a cell group. These serve as hooks to help bring people's mind to the lessons or sermons. Most of us aren't ready for any spiritual truth - our mind might be somewhere else and on something that bothers us or captured our attention just before the service or home meeting. So these stories are good opening to help bring the listeners' mind to focus on the lesson to be taught or preached.
To be printed on Christian tracts for evangelistic purpose. Everybody loves a good story and a good Christian story speaks to the hearts, invoking deep thoughts, questions and searching of souls. A good story that tells a spiritual truth used on a tract can be a strong and powerful evangelistic tool.
For electronic circulations to evangelise, encourage and inspire. Many stories have been distributed through emails from one friend to another. Please do not spam! Send only to people you know and who will not take offence to receiving such materials.
Printed and attached to a store bought or homemade card. I love doing this. Choosing an appropriate story, printing and enclosing it in a homemade card can bring much joy and encouragement to the recipient. A timely story that speaks to the recipient's situation can help lift ones spirit and bring him or her closer to the throne of God.

Print out an appropriate Christian story and include it in your faith book. It can be a story that touches your heart at that moment, or one that is related to the event you are scrapbooking. One day in time to come, it might touch someone else.
Turn stories with a Christian message into mime, and skits and performed in evangelistic meetings, Christmas celebrations, etc.
I'm sure there are many other areas and ways that we can use these stories to share our Christian faith. So look out for creative ways to tell them to kids, family and friends.
