To abide in Christ is actually simply trusting and resting on the finished work of Jesus on the cross and looking to Him to protect, supply and enrich our lives here on earth and beyond.
Yet, many Christians are still finding it difficult to do so and are being tossed to and fro like a yoyo being led by their circumstances in life.
What if I tell you that you can find rest for your mind and body just simply abiding in the Lord?
Would you be willing to let go of all your struggles and come to Jesus who alone can give you peace and joy despite your situation in life? Let Him direct you and lead you to secure places where you can find rest every day fully protected by Him and fearing no evil.

Let us rest in the bosom of Jesus' love for us. Jesus who knew no sin, in Him is no sin (2 Corinthians 5:21), He voluntarily went to the cross to be a curse for us so that we who are the cursed might received freely His righteousness and live in oneness with Him and God.
Though I had been a Christian for a number of years but only truly experience the peace of God when I understand the love and work of Jesus Christ on the cross at Calvary.
Until I fully realised that in me dwelled no good thing; all my good works are like filthy rag in the eyes of God.
Unacceptable! No matter how hard I tried to please God, I found myself more alienated from Him and more frustrated and stressed through all my striving to be holy as He is holy.
Only the work of Jesus is acceptable to God and the effect is long lasting.
"So when Jesus had received the sour wine, He said, “It is finished!” And bowing His head, He gave up His spirit." (John 19:30)
It is a one time sacrifice - no repetition year after year like the high priests did in the old testament bringing a sin sacrifice again and again.
When Jesus offered Himself in our place on the cross as a sacrifice, He fully met the price for our redemption from sin. He is the only sacrifice acceptable to our just God. It will not need to be repeated again. And since then nothing need to be offered by man; for the Man of God, the only begotten Son of God has done it once and for all. All we need is to believe in Him and His work and receive His gift of righteousness into our lives and henceforth walk in righteousness in Him.
No more working and striving for perfection but abide in Christ and walk the life of perfection in the Holy Spirit who dwells in us enabling and empowering us to live this wonderful abundant life in Christ Jesus.
Praise the Lord for His amazing love and grace that caused Him to go all the way to Calvary to die and suffer in our place so that we can be reconciled to God.
Thank to God who love us so much that He sent His only begotten Son to come into this sinful world to be a sacrifice for us.
What a God! What a love! What a Saviour! Jesus, our Lord and Saviour is full of mercy and grace towards us always.
Abide in Me, and I in you. As the branch cannot bear fruit of itself, unless it abides in the vine, neither can you, unless you abide in Me.
“I am the vine, you are the branches. He who abides in Me, and I in him, bears much fruit; for without Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is cast out as a branch and is withered; and they gather them and throw them into the fire, and they are burned. If you abide in Me, and My words abide in you, you will ask what you desire, and it shall be done for you. By this My Father is glorified, that you bear much fruit; so you will be My disciples.
“As the Father loved Me, I also have loved you; abide in My love.
John 8:31 Then Jesus said to those Jews who believed Him, “If you abide in My word, you are My disciples indeed.
1 John 2:6 He who says he abides in Him ought himself also to walk just as He walked.
1 John 2:24 Therefore let that abide in you which you heard from the beginning. If what you heard from the beginning abides in you, you also will abide in the Son and in the Father.
1 John 2:27-28 But the anointing which you have received from Him abides in you, and you do not need that anyone teach you; but as the same anointing teaches you concerning all things, and is true, and is not a lie, and just as it has taught you, you will abide in Him. And now, little children, abide in Him, that when He appears, we may have confidence and not be ashamed before Him at His coming.
1 John 3:24 Now he who keeps His commandments abides in Him, and He in him. And by this we know that He abides in us, by the Spirit whom He has given us.
1 John 4:13 By this we know that we abide in Him, and He in us, because He has given us of His Spirit.
2 John 1:9 Whoever transgresses and does not abide in the doctrine of Christ does not have God. He who abides in the doctrine of Christ has both the Father and the Son.
My friend, nothing we do will make the mark. Only what is done in Christ will last and be of value here and for eternity.
Jesus' work on the cross satisfied the judgement of God and turned His wrath away from us forever. Now that we are the Righteousness of God in Christ, we are marked for God's blessings.
Stay and abide in Christ to enjoy the abundance that our Father has in store for us in Jesus Christ.
What Jesus had done is more than sufficient for us to bear fruits. Just abide in Him and He in us and we will 'automatically' bear much fruit for without Him we can do nothing.
Rest and abide in Christ; in His love for us and His perfect work of redemption. Strive no more but just rest in His finished work on the cross and stay safe; protected, blessed and blessing others.
Yes, we will be a blessing to others wherever we go for we carry in us the very glorious Presence of Jesus with us everywhere we go. Where Christ is, there's life! Amen.
For only in Him is the fountain of all good things; manifold blessings overflowing with health and riches. To abide in Christ is to dwell in the fountain of good things; enjoying abundant blessings day in and day out.
My friend, let us abide in Christ and experience all His goodness; His provision, protection and blessings.
